Some Everton fans have taken to Twitter to slam Morgan Schneiderlin, after the midfielder put in a poor performance against Crystal Palace in the 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The Frenchman was largely ineffective having completed zero tackles and having not had a single shot throughout the game – to make matters worse, he was given his marching orders after a late lunge on Luka Milivojevic earned him a second yellow card.

The Toffees were probably fortunate to get a point after the Eagles missed two one-on-one chances courtesy of Jordan Ayew and Max Meyer, and the 29-year-old’s woeful showing probably didn’t help their chances of picking up three points.

The 6 foot 1 midfielder will now miss the game against Watford next weekend – judging by his form against Palace, that’ll probably be considered a boost by Marco Silva.
